Escudo de prata, com duas faixas de azul ondadas em banda, acompanhadas por dois crescentes de vermelho. Coroa mural de cinco torres de prata. Listel branco, com os dizeres: " CIDADE DE ALVERCA DO RIBATEJO ", de negro.

The arms were officially granted on ?

The arms are partly canting and refer to the origin of the name. Alverca comes from the Arab Al-Birkä, that refers to a swampy area or wetlands. This is represented by the two wavy bends, which at the same time refer to the Tejo river. The two crescents are also a symbol for the Arabs that founded the town.
