RUCANDIO

Official blazon
Escudo, de oro, árbol de sinople frutado de oro, nurido, flanqueado de dos ondas de azur (cataratas). Bordura de sinople, cargada de seis torres de plata y de cuatro estrellas de seis puntas de lo mismo en el orden según diseño. Al timbre, corona real de España.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 15, 2003.
The tree symbolises the richness of the village, as expressed by its fruit trees. The two wavy lines are waterfalls and refer to the name of the district, Cataratas (waterfalls). The green bordure refers to the agricultural character of the village. The six towers and four stars refer to the six present and four former hamlets in the municipality.
