ÖVRE LJUNGADALEN
Province (Landskap): Jämtland, Härjedalen
County (Län): Jämtlands län
Incorporated into : 1971 Berg (Jämtland)
Official blazon
I blått fält tre till ett gaffelkors sammanställda blixtar av silver och däröver i ginstammen tre trianglar av silver upptagande dennas hela bredd.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 24, 1961.
The arms show three triangles for the three former parishes in the municipality. The three lightning bolts refer to the water power stations in the Ljungan river, producing electricity which is exported to all directions.
