Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 31, 1994.

The arms show a wheat-ear and an acorn for the agricultural character and the forests in the municipality. The base shows a water-mill wheel in blue, for the many rivers and ponds in the municipality, in which water-mills were used to saw wood. The colours are those of the Lindau Estate, to which the village historically belonged.
