Escudo de vermelho, com uma estrela de ouro, Em chefe um açor de sua cor voando, segurando uma quina de Portugal nas garras. Em contra-chefe, uma ponte de prata realçada de azul, sobre uma faixa ondadas de prata e azul, de três peças. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco com os dizeres : " RIBEIRA GRANDE " em letras de negro.
