On a disc Azure, a compass star faceted with alternating Or and Gris angles, surmounted by a stylized open book Argent with Sable accents, and a quill point of the fourth, feathered Gules, all within a narrow border Yellow. Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed “SUPPORT THROUGH MANAGEMENT” in Yellow letters. Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "434TH MAINT OPERATIONS FLT" in Yellow letters.
Origin/meaning
Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations.
