State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District(Kreis) : Hochsauerlandkreis (until 1974 Brilon)
Amt : Thülen
Incorporated into : 1975 Brilon

Wappen von Rösenbeck/Arms (crest) of Rösenbeck
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 16, 1954.

The arms are canting, the name means rose-stream or rose-river. The colours are derived from the colours of the Von Padberg family and the Bredelar Abbey, who historically owned many possessions in the village.
