English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 6, 1998.

The arms show the Rusteburg castle on the Rusteberg mountain in the municipality, one of the major strongholds of the Archbishops of Mainz in the region since the 12th century. The village developed around the castle. The wheel on the hill is the symbol of the State of Mainz.
