916TH COMMUNICATIONS SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted 916 Communications Squadron on 3 July 1951. Activated in the Reserve on 6 August 1951. Inactivated on 15 June 1952. Consolidated (12 Apr 2007) with 916 Communications Flight, which was constituted, and activated on 3 May 1966. Organized in the Reserve on 1 June 1966. Inactivated on 8 July 1972. Activated in the Reserve on 1 October 1994. Redesignated 916 Communications Squadron on 12 May 2007.
