|
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 24, 1818.
The arms simply refer to agriculture and show farmer's tools and a wheat sheaf. The arms have no historical meaning and were designed for the small agricultural village in 1818. The colours are the Dutch national colours, which were retained after the Belgian independence.
Literature: Servais, 1955
