Origin/meaning
The pile represents the "beautiful valley" where Leintrey is situated. A hundred French people died in thevalley there in 1915. The colors of the French Republic, blue, white and red, symbolise that Leintrey suffered during the wars of 1870-1871, 1914-1918 and 1939-1945. and gave a lot for the homeland. The wheatear refers to the agricultural character and the willow is a common tree in the municipality.
