CORUND

District/county (județ) : Harghita

Stema Corund

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 27, 2012.

The sun symbolizes the courage and dignity of the inhabitants, and the moon, the desire for peace and purity.

The fir tree represents the forest richness of the area, and the ceramic vessel symbolizes the traditional occupation of the inhabitants, pottery.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
