Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on April 24, 1961.

The arms symbolise the former of salmon fishing in the Rhine river, which was mainly of importance in the village of Lüttingen. The green colours symbolises the agricultural character of the municipality. The gold and red colour of the salmon refer to the Duchy of Kleve, to which the area historically belonged.
