The two palm leaves are the symbol for St. Christina, the local patron saint. The millstone symbolises the different mills in the parish. <br>
The bar symbolises the textile industries in the parish, which have a very long tradition and is famous for its decorations.<br>
The base shows a bunch of grapes for the importance of viticulture in the area.

Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on September 16, 1999.
