JÄMSHÖG

Province (Landskap): Blekinge
County (Län): Blekinge län
Incorporated into : 1967 Olofström

Arms (crest) of Jämshög

Official blazon

I rött fält tre ekollon av silver, ordnade två och ett, och däröver en med tre röda liljor belagd ginstam av silver.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 13, 1947.

The three fleur-de-lis (lilies) are taken from the arms of the Estenberg family. Petrus Estenberg was priest in Jämshög and later professor. The three acorns symbolise the many oak forests in the area.
