Département : Aisne

Blason de Clacy-et-Thierret/Arms (crest) of Clacy-et-Thierret
Official blazon
French

Écartelé: aux 1er et 4e losangé d'azur et d'argent, aux 2e et 3e d'argent au lion couronné de gueules.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The village probably takes its name from the Latin claciacum means rack (a wicker or trellis for pens). This trellis is symbolised in the 1st and 4th quarters as a canting element.

The lion is taken as a symbol for the Picardie region.
