Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on March 10, 1989.
The crown symbolises the fact that Reppner was a a Royal village, the German King was the direct overlord of the village. In the 11th century the village became a possession of the Bishops of Münster and later of the Dukes of Braunschweig and the State of Hildesheim. The agricultural character of the village is symbolised by the wheatears in the crown. The colours are those of the Dukes of Braunschweig as well as the State of Hildesheim.
