MYŚLENICE

Province: Małopolska
County: Myślenice

Arms of Myślenice

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The city recieved city rights in 1342. The arms were first granted on March 2, 1797 and again in 1937.

The arms show a tree, some seedlings and two axes. This probably refers to the fact that the city is situated in an area of former woodland.
