Geviert; Feld 1 und 4: in Blau eine silberne Windmühle mit schwarzem Dach und Ständer, Feld 2 und 3: in Silber eine linkssitzende rückschauende schwarze Bracke.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 1, 1993.
The arms combine the local windmill with the dog from the arms of the Von Byern family, who ruled the village for several centuries.
