Schräglinks geteilt: rechts dreimal von Schwarz und Silber schräglinks geteilt; links in Schwarz eine goldbewehrte silberne Henne mit rotem Kamm und ebensolchen Lappen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 6, 1954.

The black shield and silver bends are taken from the Von Tann family, who had their estates Altentann and Lichtentann in the municipality. The hen is a canting element.
