Escudo de vermelho, uma espada de prata, montante, entre dois leões de ouro, rompantes e afrontados. Em ponta, um ondado de prata e azul. Coroa mural de três torres de prata. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: " CHANCELARIA ".
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 25, 1994.
The two lions and the sword refer to the local patron saint, St. Eufémia. The base refers to the Alvorão river.
