BERGA
Region : Catalonia
Province : Barcelona
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms of Berga a combination of the arms of the Berga family, landlords of the town in 12-13th centuries: the silver wanings on azure (which some authors relate to the battle against Muslims), and the royal arms of Catalonia-Aragon: the four gules pales on gold.
These arms are not official, but are used normally in the town.
