Peramolal.jpg

Official blazon

Escut caironat: de gules, una mola d'argent. Per timbre una corona de baró.

Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 6th August 1985.

The local castle was the centre of a barony, that originally belonged to the Peramola family, whose canting arms the town has taken: a millstone Argent on Gules. At the top of the arms there is a baron crown.
