Escudo de Rucandio

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 15, 2003.

The tree symbolises the richness of the village, as expressed by its fruit trees. The two wavy lines are waterfalls and refer to the name of the district, Cataratas (waterfalls). The green bordure refers to the agricultural character of the village. The six towers and four stars refer to the six present and four former hamlets in the municipality.
