Gladhammar kommunvapen

Official blason

I fält av silver ett blått treberg och däröver två stolpvis ställda och bjälkvis ordnade blå kräftor.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 9, 1953.

The lobsters are taken from the old seal and arms of the Tjust hundred, to which the area historically belonged. The base refers to the -hammer part, which means stony slope or stony ridge.
