SÖLDEN

State : Tirol
District : Imst

Solden.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on April 7, 1960.

The municipality is the largest in Tirol and has three different parishes, Gurgl, Sölden and Vent. This is shown by the three churches in the arms. The colours are those of Tirol and the two points refer to the two passes and roads to Südtirol in Italy.
