Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on July 6, 1981.

The arms show a wavy band, symbolising the Rainbach river. The golden bordure is a caning element, Rain means a slightly elevated area of ground, which is symbolised as two small dykes. The two keys are the symbol of the patron saint of the village, St. Peter.
