Arms of Øsby

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1965.

The scythe refers to the agricultural character of the municipality, whereas the trident refers to fishing, mainly on the island of Årø. The wavy division line symbolise the two parts, the mainland and the island of Årø.
