1ST FOREIGN PARACHUTE REGIMENT, FRENCH ARMY

History: Fromed as 1st Foreign Parachute Battalion in Indochina in 1948. Destroyed and rebuilt twice, raised to a Regiment in 1955 and disbanded in 1961 following the attempted Coup by French Paratroops Units in Alger.
