В лазоревом поле вверху два сообращенно стоящих серебряных, с золотыми глазами, бивнями и ногтями, мамонта; внизу же - золотое стропило, сопровожденное внутри звездой того же металла об одиннадцати лучах. Щит увенчан золотой муниципальной короной установленного образца.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 16, 2011.
The chevron refers to a fortification which included at the time of formation also Abatsky jail. The two mammoths indicate the abundance of palaeontological sites found in the district, and represented in many museum collections in Russia. The 11-pointed star indicates the number of settlements in the region.Literature:
