ALÈS

Département : Gard

Blason de Alès/Arms (crest) of Alès
Official blazon
French De gueules au demi-vol d’argent.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The actual origin of the arms is not known, but it is speculated that the arms are derived from the arms of the Bérard Montalet, Lord of Alès, who died in 1684. He is buried in the cathedral of Alès.
