- (fr) Écartelé: au 1er de gueules bordé d'or au monogramme de la Vierge d'or sommé d'une croisette du même et à la bordure d'azur, au 2e d'argent à trois palombes d'azur, au 3e d'or au gant de lachua posé en bande et accompagné en chef d'une pelote, le tout au naturel, au 4e de gueules à la lettre capitale K d'argent sommé d'une couronne royale d'or.
Origin/meaning
The arms show in the first quarter a monogramme found in the local church. The second quarter symbolise the former pigeon hunting in the area. The third shows the typical basque sport of pelote and the fourth the letter K for the Kintoa region (Quint in French).
