Official blazon

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: On a blue shield arched at top with an ⅛ inch (.32cm) golden orange border, 3 inches (7.62cm) in height and 2⅛ inches (5.40cm) in width overall, a white sword hilted and winged golden orange and above the point a golden orange lamp of learning.


Coat of Arms: Shield: Azure, a chevron checky Or and Brick Red, overall a pair of wings conjoined and elevated golden orange and in fess point a compass rose of the second. Crest: On a wreath of the colors Or and Azure, in front of a laurel wreath Vert two torches in saltire of the first inflamed Proper surmounted by a sword erect, hilt of the first and blade Argent. Motto: On a scroll golden orange doubled Azure the words "SUPPORT AND SUSTAIN" in Azure.

Origin/meaning

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Ultramarine blue and golden orange are the colors of the Army Aviation branch.The winged sword symbolizes the air defense mission and the lamp refers to learning and training.
Approved 6 June 1985.

Coat of Arms: The shield directly symbolizes the school's motto by depicting wings and a checkered pattern alluding to logistics and materiel, on a chevron symbolic of support. Ultramarine blue and golden orange are the colors of the Army Aviation branch.The checkered chevron incorporating the transportation colors refers to the school's association with that branch. The compass rose at the center suggests the global mission of the school. The arms were approved 22 March 1985.
