In Grün über einem mit einem blauen Stör belegten silbernen Wellenbalken ein schreitender, golden bewehrter silberner Schwan.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 16, 2001.

The green field symbolises the Krempermarsch region, the silver bar the Stör river, the sturgeon is a canting element for the river (Stör is sturgeon) and symbolises the rich wildlife in the river. The swan is the symbol of the Amt Krempermarsch to which the municipality belongs.
