BAMBLE

Province : Telemark
Additions : 1964 Langesund, Stathelle

Arms of Bamble

Official blazon

I blått et gull skipsratt.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 12, 1986.

The arms are nearly identical to the former arms of Stathelle. Sailing and fishing have always been of great importance for the area, and a ship's wheel was thus an appropriate symbol.
