Blason de Bantzenheim

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The village adopted these arms in the late 17th century. The three mounts are the Schwarzwald (black forest), the Jura and the Vosges. These three mountain ranges can be see from the village. The horseshoe symbolises the fact that the village used to be a Roman post relay.
