Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 13, 1947.

The arms show in the upper half two crossed branches. The origin thereof is not known. The lower half shows the arms of the Blumenegg Estate, to which the village historically belonged.

The arms are based on a decoration in the local church, dating from 1651.
