Official blazon

  • (de) Geteilt, oben in Blau drei silberne Rüdenköpfe mit goldener Zunge und goldenen, beringten Halsbändern, unten in Gold eine blaue Jakobsmuschel.

Origin/meaning

The arms show a scallop, the symbol of St. James, the local patron saint. The chief shows three dog heads, taken from the arms of the medieval Von Bramstadt family.
