Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted in 1996.
The arms are based on the oldest seal of the village from 1638. This seal showed a ploughshare, grapeknife and bunch of grapes, symbolising agriculture and viticulture.
These symbols were placed in a blue wavy pale, which symbolises the many brooks and streams in the municipality.
