Gespalten von Blau und Silber; auf grünem Boden vorne ein silberner Turm, hinten eine grüne Buche. Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on July 18, 1838 by King Ludwig I of Bavaria. The arms show a castle and a canting beech (Buche). The castle is a symbol for the castle of the Counts of Marstetten and Neiffen, which used to stand near the town. As supporters the Bavarian lion and as a crest a laurel branch were sometimes used, but these were not officially granted.
