The globe symbolizes the domestic and overseas operations for which this unit is responsible, while the compass rose and thunderbird head recall the unit's role of providing protection, wise counsel and direction. Motto: Meaning "Out of truth and vigilance victory".

The badge was approved on March 1, 1999.
