Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on October 21, 1999.

The gold and green alder tree are taken from the coat of arms of the Lord of Launay who owned the village. The horseshoes represent Saint Eloi, the patron saint of the village.

The two doves (colombes) are a canting element.
