Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 11, 1998.

The upper part shows a wolf's head, a symbol for the historical wolf hunts that took place in the area, according to the registers of the Schleswig cathedral. The lower half shows a heart with arrows, the symbol of the former region Husbyharde. The main colours blue and gold are taken from the arms of the District Schleswig-Flensburg
