  • (1996) In Silber eine gezinnte rote Mauer, dahinter wachsend ein gezinnter roter Turm, begleitet von zwei aus der Mauer wachsenden grünen Kastanienbäumen, in der Toröffnung ein blaues Wasser.
  • (2015) In Silber auf einem, mit silberner Wellenleiste belegten grünen Dreiberg ein gezinntes, schwarzgefugtes rotes Burgportal, im offenen Torbogen ein gestürztes grünes Lindenblatt.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 18, 2015.

The arms are based on the older arms (see below), with a linden leaf taken from the arms of Behnsdorf. The base now refers to the Flechtinger Höhenzug region.

The arms previous arm were officially granted on February 26, 1996.

The arms refer to the local castle, which is surrounded by moats. For the arms only a gate was used, with water in the gate. The two trees symbolise the large chestnut trees near the entrance of the castle.
