Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 20, 1902.
The oldest known seal of the village dates from 1725 and shows the cross of the State of Speyer, a hunter, a canting forest (Forst=forest) and the Agnus Dei. In 1902 these elements were used to design the new arms.
