Selected collector's items from Germany:

FRAMERSHEIM

State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Alzey-Worms (until 1969 Alzey)
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Alzey-Land

Wappen von Framersheim

Official blazon

(de)

Origin/meaning

The arms show a typical hat, Kesselhut in German. The hat already appeared on the seal of the village from 1459-1609. The hat most likely is a canting symbol for the Kessler von Sarmsheim family, who lived in the local castle in medieval times.
