GENERALSKI STOL

County : Karlovac

Generalski Stol.jpg
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 2001.

The linden leaf refers to the ancient name of the town Lipovac, that was changed in the 17th century when it was the seat of the headquarters of the General of the Military Border, Vuk Krsto Frankopan (ca. 1588 – 1652), to defend the country from the Ottomans.

The meaning of the chevron I do not know.
