Von Rot über Silber geteilt; oben eine durchgängige silberne Mauer mit drei Türmen bedeckt, die mit schwarzen Fenstern und blauen Spitzdächern versehen sind, sowie einem offenen roten Tor, unten ein auf grünem Boden linkshin schreitender schwarzer Eber.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 12, 1992.

The arms are based on the old seals of the city, the oldest known since the 14th century. The city wall refers to the defense systems. The boar refers to the rich forests in the area surrounding the city.
