Origin/meaning

The upper half shows the arms of Rohan and Bretagne, as the village was a longtime possession of the De Rohan family and is situated in Bretagne.

The third quarter shows the Scorff river and the fourth the arms of the De Beaumez family, lords of the village in the 14th century, prior to the De Rohan family.

Literature: Froger and Pressensé, 1999.
