Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 4, 1988.

The five stars are taken from the arms of the Riederer von Paar family, who, in medieval times, had many possessions in Riedheim. The five stars also symbolise the 5 parts of the municipality. The jug is taken from the arms of the Lords of Holzheim. The wavy pale symbolises the Paar river.
